Welcome to the online home of the Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers (ANZASW). ANZASW is the professional association for Social Workers in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is a membership organisation that is run for and by the members and relies on the participation and contribution of Social Workers throughout the country.

 

Introduction

Through this website the Association aims to provide information to:

  • ANZASW members,
  • those who may have an interest in membership of ANZASW, and
  • those who seek information about social work in Aotearoa New Zealand.

ANZASW is a unique Association in many ways and reflects the efforts by its members to have a professional body for social work that respects Te Tiriti O Waitangi and the special characteristics of social work practice in this country.
